2016 Prize Winners

Each year on the first day of the quilt show the guild members are invited to vote on their favourite quilt in each of the 10 categories.  A first, second and third prize ribbon is awarded in each category for the 3 most popular quilts.

This year we had several tie votes and did not have enough ribbons so we had to be inventive so that everyone who won would receive recognition for their work at the show.  The appropriate ribbons were photocopied and hung on the quilts.  These people will receive proper ribbons in due course.

Photos of these quilts will be posted.  Our congratulations to all these quilters.

Throughout the show we ask everyone who visits to vote on their favourite quilt and the quilts with the most votes are awarded prized donated by our generous sponsors and by the guild.  The quilt with the most votes is also awarded the Canadian Quilters’ Association rosette.  Our congratulations to all these quilters.
