Fall Frolic 2010 -
New photos and workshops!
held at the Salvation Army Citadel
Saturday, October 2, 2010 there are 3 hour workshops both morning and
afternoon.
Workshops from 9:00 - 12:00 & 1:00 - 4:00
Lynne Piper -
Split-Striped Dresden Plate Table Topper
If you had the opportunity to see Lynne's group display their
variety of table toppers you've been inspired to sign up for
her class! You will
need six different fabrics in your colour choice ranging from
light to dark but I have found that the light/medium/dark
factor isn’t as important as the fabrics working together. If you’re using a
monochromatic colour choice, try to have one that is darker
or lighter than the rest for a zinger in the table topper.
One of the mandates of the Victoria Quilters Guild is education about quilting.
Traditionally, the guild has held workshop Saturdays in the fall and the spring
as a benefit to the members. The sessions are subsidized by the guild and
are a way for members to get together, to learn something new and to have fun.
We encourage you to participate in the Fall Frolic. For new members it will be
another chance to meet your fellow members.

No refunds will be given, but feel free to find a substitute. If there
are wait lists for any of the workshops the committee may be able to
put you in touch with a member who wants to attend.
