Garage Sale Information - November meeting

All sale items must be quilt related!!!

The guild garage sale is an opportunity for members to purge their

stash and/or to purchase new items. Held in the gym, tables are stacked

with bagged items brought in by the sellers.

Buyer: Bring lots of change and small bills as each item must be paid for individually. A bag or basket to store items while shopping is an asset.  Envelopes are provided by the seller for each item to be sold. If you wish to purchase an item, put the money for that item in the envelope, seal it and hand it to a committee member who will be wearing a blue ribbon.  Remember – it is up to you to have the proper change for each purchase.

Seller: All items should be packaged in plastic see-through bags and have an envelope attached.  Label the envelope with your name and the amount that you are asking for that item.

Jane Doe - $ 2.00

All Fabric packets should be marked with the amount of yardage

Do not seal the envelope! The buyer will seal the envelope after purchasing the item.  Keep track of your inventory- put the name of the item to be sold on the envelope.

The envelope can then be taped to the outside of the plastic bag or put inside it.  Envelopes may be taped to the front of books.  Bring all items for sale to the gym before heading to the guild meeting. Money will not be distributed until after the sale is over and all items sold must be collected at the end of the meeting.  Please designate someone to pickup left over items if you are unable to stay until the end or do not participate.  All items not picked up will be donated to charity.

Important:
