Garage Sale Rules and Information
ALL SALE ITEMS MUST BE QUILT RELATED!!!
The committee reserves the right to reject all items that are not quilt
related or are not packaged properly. No polyester accepted!
BUYER:
BRING LOTS OF CHANGE AND SMALL BILLS – EACH ITEM MUST BE PAID FOR
INDIVIDUALLY. THE COMMITTEE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING CHANGE!
An envelope will be provided by the seller for each item to be sold. If you
wish to purchase an item, put the money for that item in the envelope, seal
it, and hand it to a committee member who will be wearing a volunteer
ribbon. Remember: It is up to you to have the proper change for each
purchase.
SELLER:
All sale items should be packaged in plastic see-through bags and have an
envelope attached. Label the envelope with your name and the amount you are
asking for that item. See sample below.
Jane Doe $2.00
All fabric should be marked with the amount of yardage.
DO NOT SEAL THE ENVELOPE!
The buyer will seal the envelope after purchasing the item.
If you have lots to sell and want to keep track of your inventory, put the
name of the item to be sold on the envelope.
The envelope can then be taped to the outside of the plastic bag or put
inside it. Envelopes may be taped to the front of books.
BRING ALL ITEMS FOR SALE TO THE GYM BEFORE HEADING TO THE GUILD
MEETING.
Money will not be disbursed until after the sale is over, and all items not
sold MUST be collected at the end of the morning. If you cannot pick up
leftover items after the sale you must have someone designated to do so for
you. All items not picked up will be donated to charity.
*** Items are placed in the sale at your own risk. The
committee is not responsible for items that go missing. We do our best to
see that the sale runs smoothly, but things do happen.***
